Our top-notch groomers are well versed and experienced dog handlers to this day -

way before they picked up a grooming tool.

our groomers, saw the desperate need for the stigma around dog breeds, and grooming, to change.

With lots of breeds turned away due to stereotypes, or difficult behaviour traits, the canine parlour knew they could provide the ultimate grooming experience for owners and dogs alike.

At our doggy spa, we tailor our services to fit each pooches need. Whether its merging training and grooming together for the more nervous pooch, or sorting those teeth before it requires a hefty vets visit

we have you covered.

due to our vast level of knowledge when it comes to canines health and behaviour, we are proud to say we welcome all breeds. From family fluffy pets, rescues settling into their new lives, and working dogs.

Our salon is a home from home experience. we don’t put the dogs in a crate.

instead we use the time to play, build bonds, and even teach them a trick or two!

Luna, rescue

SO happy we found Izzy!! Our lovely dog is incredibly nervous and we had some really bad experiences with other places, even those who say they are good with nervous dogs. Izzy put her and us at ease straight away and managed a full groom first time, a miracle! She is also the nicest person and does a brilliant job. We will never go anywhere else!

Nala, Mastiff

Nala, a big and bold doggo, got turned down by a bunch of grooming salons because of her intimidating looks. Izzy stepped up with such a kind and friendly attitude, it was very refreshing. Now, Nala has bagged herself a spot for regular pampering at The Canine Parlour.

KYRA, MIX BREED

After lasting 15 minutes at a previous salon, Kyra was refused grooming for being too hard to handle and difficult - friendly, but just too strong headed. I was expecting a call within a few minutes of dropping her, but nope, Kyra came back fully groomed, nails clipped and teeth cleaned. Izzy really does have the confidence and handling skills larger breeds require, whilst also the TLC all owners hope their dogs are treated with.

Bluie, Cockerpoo

Bluie is actually one of the most hyper balls of energy you can imagine. We first sent him to The Canine Parlour from a pup for regular puppy grooming sessions. These started at 15 mins slow introductions and i now see how important this desensitisation is from a young age. Bluie now flies into his appointments and loves being in the salon with the girls. PS; the pawfume is unreal, he always smells devine!!
